Protecting clubs, changing communities, transforming lives

Cash4Clubs has been a part of the history of hundreds of local clubs since 2008. In a follow up survey for our 2025 winners, we invited them to tell us how they had used their grant and the difference it made.

  • 200 community and voluntary groups funded
  • £400k distributed
  • 31,679 people (18+) benefitted
  • 2,584 new people engaged in activities as a direct result
  • 57% of funded groups from areas of high deprivation across multiple indices, including:

76% working with lower socio-economic groups, 64% included disabled people, 57% targeted women and girls, 54% supported racially diverse communities, and 43% engaged LGBTQ+ participants.

In 2025 Cash4Clubs gave out £400,000 in small grants to 200 local sports clubs and organisations

"We formed our football team with money made from the Cash4Clubs grant. We were able to buy football boots for those that didn't have them, were able to practice more and appear more professional. We ended up making history by playing the first intercity, competitive football match between asylum seeker teams. We could not have done this without Cash4Clubs."

We now have over 100 women who are fully interested in keeping healthy with regular participation in fitness classes...Originally we anticipated 40-50 participants but quickly realized the volume and how successful this project is going to be.
