Cash4Clubs is a sports funding scheme giving clubs a unique chance to apply for grants to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, and invest in the sustainability of their club. The Cash4Clubs scheme has given out sport grants to many deserving recipients in the past and is committed to funding even more sports clubs in the future.
In 2020 we've increased the maximum grant available to help ensure that clubs can continue the important work they do to keep their community active, during and beyond the pandemic.
We’re awarding grants of £/€500, £/€1,000, £/€2,500 and £/€5,000, with the highest two grant levels going to clubs experiencing hardship due to the impact of COVID-19.
The Cash4Clubs scheme is funded by Flutter Entertainment. They have been running this initiative for over ten years and understand the importance of community sport in promoting an active lifestyle and stimulating local pride.
It's always a great time to be involved in sport and Cash4Clubs can play an important role in helping clubs to sustain and develop themselves.
Any sports club can apply if they are registered with their sport's National Governing Body or local authority. If successful in your funding application, grants will only be sent to official club bank accounts.
Funding is given to clubs on a discretionary basis, with a wide range of applications considered. Whether it’s an underwater camera for monitoring swimming technique, the re-surfacing of a tennis court, new kit for your rugby or netball team or extra training for your coaches, there is a very open policy to what we will consider.
Grants are chosen once a year with each application being assessed against a set of criteria which includes the need for funding, the proposal for funding and the quality / creativity of the application.
In 2020 the highest two grant levels (£/€2,500 and £/€5,000) will go towards clubs experiencing hardship due to the impact of COVID-19. To be considered for these grants, in your application, you'll have to give details on the effect COVID-19 has had on your club, why the funding is needed and what the funding will go towards.
Making your application pop by using a video to show off your club and its members is a great idea to stand out from the crowd. You can either upload a video with your application or attach a video you have uploaded to Vimeo or YouTube.
Grants are available at £/€500, £/€1,000, £/€2,500 and £/€5,000, with the highest two grant levels going to clubs experiencing hardship due to the impact of COVID-19.
