Altius Trampoline Club

Altius Trampoline club is based in a community school in Southampton, Hampshire. They are a small club offering trampolining to all ages and abilities. They are the only Trampoline club in the Romsey to offer sessions for preschool children, mothers and toddlers, and free sessions for special needs children and their families.

The club aims to achieve its Gym Mark status as well as being able to offer more sessions to special needs groups within their own schools so all can attend. The Cash 4 Clubs sports grant of £750 was awarded to the club to enable them to send welfare officers on courses and to buy equipment for their special needs children and younger toddlers.

The benefits of Gym Mark for the club include being able to demonstrate that they have addressed issues such as equality and child protection, which gives confidence to parents choosing a club for their children. This provides them a strong foundation in the development of their club.

"Altius Trampoline Club is so grateful to Cash 4 Clubs to have been chosen as one of the worthy causes from over 2000 applications. With their generous donation, this will enable our club to develop our Trampoline club making Trampolining accessible to all ages and abilities. An extra big thank you from our special needs session that would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience this sport. With this grant we are now able to work towards completing our gym mark accreditation and even have money left to send our coaches on a special needs rebound therapy course!" Clare Gotts (Head Coach).
