Cambourne Cricket Club
The club only formed in 2008 but has already achieved ClubMark status and grown the number of youth members by 100%. This has been done through building links with local schools and youth clubs as well as a formal Club/School partnership with Comberton Village College.
With the objective to continue growing and to provide cricket in a friendly and run environment to members and the local community, they have ambitious development plans. This includes improving facilities and providing mobile nets for practice. However the recent economic
decline has reduced funding from local companies and they found themselves without the money to purchase these.
Cash 4 Clubs will ensure they have the funds to buy a net and offer good training facilities to help stimulate the further growth of the club which has already established itself as an important part of the local community.
